Event Horizon or the point of no return, according to general relativity is a region in spacetime beyond which the events happening will never affect an outside observer. It is a boundary where the gravitational pull of a celestial object is so massive that it makes escape from this gravity near impossible. The term ‘Event Horizon’ is most commonly associated with black holes as even the light gets pulled to it due to the immense gravity. The light, if any is being emitted from within the event horizon an outside observer can never see it, this is the reason why one can ever visually we see a black hole. From a very theoretical point of view, any object that is approaching this horizon will appear to slow down and never passed the horizon from the observer’s line of view but it is believed that for the travelling object or entity experiences no strange effect and passes through the horizon in a normal finite amount.
